Exploring ECU: Sororities vs snags

In this episode, Indahly Gebert-Tchan ponders how the Australian uni experience compares to its American counterpart.

In this episode of Exploring ECU, Indahly Gebert-Tchan dives into the contrasting worlds of partying and friendships between Australian university culture and the American college experience. You’ll hear first-hand sorority secrets from Georgia Bergin, an Australian student who experienced the famous ‘BAMA rush’ experience firsthand. Back home, Joondalup ECU student Phoebe Scott gets candid about the absence of community within local campuses. Enjoy our conversations about campus life on both sides of the globe!

The H in my name may be silent, but I’m far from it! I’m a final year ECU student, almost ready to graduate with a Bachelor of Media and Communications and Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Broadcast Journalism, and Creative and Professional Writing. I grew up making YouTube videos from the age of 10, editing, filming and scripting stories of myself and others. I’m a huge social butterfly and very extroverted: hence why I love human interest, lifestyle and celebrity stories the most.
